June’s Coffee, located at 60 Carrington Street in Sydney’s CBD near Wynyard Station, is a bright and welcoming café that caters to the bustling commuter crowd. Surrounded by office towers and shops, it’s a convenient stop for workers and travelers moving through the precinct. The cafe is known for serving Gabriel Coffee, a respected Sydney roaster, alongside a menu of hearty breakfast options and creative sandwiches. Its central location makes it a hub for quick, quality meals and drinks in the heart of the city. The cafe experiences its busiest times during the morning rush, when commuters grab coffee and breakfast, and again at lunchtime, when its stacked sandwiches and “toppers” are in high demand. Popular specialties include the turkey club, spicy fried chicken, BLAT, and vegetarian-friendly mushroom melts, as well as unique open-faced creations with avocado, mozzarella, or tahini-kale mixes. With kombucha, teas, and cold-pressed juices rounding out the menu, June’s Coffee has carved out a reputation as a go-to spot for specialty coffee and inventive, satisfying food in Sydney’s CBD.

Went here for coffee and ordered a small cappuccino. The coffee was very good, with quality beans and a clean, smooth taste that was easy to enjoy. The presentation stood out as well — the yellow cups are a great touch and really add character. The fit-out is bright and welcoming, bringing a lot of warmth and energy to the street, and it’s very picturesque. Overall, a lovely spot to stop by for a coffee, especially if you enjoy good coffee and a well-designed space.

Such a striking well designed coffee spot! They use Gabriel Coffee which I personally like. Designed to take away but they also have a few spots against the wall where you are more than welcome to chill, drink and eat at! Always busy, pumping out truck loads of coffee!

I was in the mood for veggies, so I made up my mind to have the Garden Bowl from June. I have tried their chicken sandwich before. It is quite good, proper sourdough and tender chicken, but I forgot to ask where they got their pastries from. Keep in mind that if you wanna to order lunch form June, their chef is off around 12:00, I went there for lunch twice every time I have to wait for the chef to come back. But it didn’t take very long. So the Garden Bowl, it is quite filling because the rice base, I have to say I love their rice so much, I think they mix three types of rice together-brown rice, quinoa and black rice. They boiled or steamed the rice to the perfect chewy but not hard state. They are not hard though, whenever I had rice which are not cooked properly, I will have stomachache. Since it is quite cold and windy today, after I finished the avocado in the bowl, I put the rest in the microwave oven. The rice became more delicious that way. For veggies, they have broccoli, cabbage, roasted pumpkin and avocado. There is vegan cheese in the description, but I don’t think there is any cheese in my bowl. I like the yellow corner café, but the waitress today is not smiling. I want to say to her, eat more veggies and be happy, Girl! #By the way, they have no plastic for takeaway package, how cool is that!

Great little hole in the wall option for coffee, juices and sandwiches. I ordered a soy latte and it was smashing, really well made, frothy and smooth and solid strength shot to wake me up. Service is quick even though there is a constant line of people waiting. Some seating available along the side wall of the building, great people watching location. Eager to try some sandwich options next time. Located just around the corner from Wynyard light rail and next to HSBC and Westpac buildings

Takeaway Review - I mean, this is my local go-to, so maybe I am biased. You’ll find me here every morning grabbing my iced long black. The food is also incredible, so that’s just a bonus. Check it out!

Beautiful little spot for a takeaway breakfast. Quick service and really lovely staff. Chef asked how to pronounce my name when he gave me my breakfast. Second time going there ordering scrambled eggs with gluten free bread. Great portion size of eggs. Coffee is great as well, they have all the milk options. There is a teeny bit of seating built into the wall or you can walk 20m to a bunch of tables in the street. Would love to come back!

Great hole in the wall sandwich spot. Only tried one of the sandwiches but the spicy chicken was hard to fault. Maybe a smidge too much greenery in each mouthful but great flavour and decent size
